Angelo & Franco - The Mozzarela Guys | Great press reviews!
11.05.2009
Following the official launch of their factory and the start of the production, Angelo & Franco have been the subject of some great press reviews.

Tasting Table Los Angeles hails their mozzarella as "one of the best we've tasted", or in more length: "this isn't buffalo mozzarella--the milk comes from California cows, which lends a pure flavor to the cheeses--but it's just as good as any you'll find in Italy. The mozzarella balls are lightly salted and have a beautiful soft texture, not rubbery like the commercial, supermarket stuff. The silky smooth ricotta is one of the best we've tasted. A spoonful on crostini with a drizzle of honey or a dollop of olive tapenade is near perfect."

About their ricotta, Food GPS says that it "...was so creamy it practically melted in my mouth. The cheese was sensational on its own, and slathered on crostini, would have been even better."
