c:lynk turns global with the opening of a branch in Shanghai. The Shanghai branch is an officially registered c:lynk company managed by Alex Yu and Steve Shao.

The Shanghai branch will serve as a "production hub" for c:lynk Geneva as well as provide creative and production services for the local Chinese market. Services provided will mainly include web development as well as 3D design, animation and rendering.

We underline the fact that this is not an international partnership or outsourcing collaboration, but an officially registered company and extension of c:lynk.

Alex Yu has over 10 years experience in the creative field in both Europe (UK) and China. Originally from Hong-Kong, he was trained at Central Saint Martins College of London, where he met Basil THuillard, founder of c:lynk. He then moved to Shanghai in 2002 and was followed shortly after by Basil. They worked together in the advertising field winning awards and prices. Since then, he has acted as TVC director as well as creative director for various agencies.

Steve Shao will be the lead designer of a team of 5. He has extensive experience working for agencies and since the last 2 years was managing his own design & multimedia studio.

We are very pleased that both of them have decided to join the c:lynk team and we are certain that together we will be able to service our clients in an extremely dedicated and bespoke way.

c:lynk can now offer more in terms of in-house services, as well as provide a truly global vision.
